false teeth cover up

hey, i'm nancy albert, inventor of imako cosmetic teeth. i'm really excited today because i have a really good looking model here, and we're going to show you how to fit the teeth. well, that was your first lie! you want to have a big pot of boiling water, almost boiling, just simmering. a kitchen utensil; a knife or a spoon. and, when your kit, it's like this and the teeth arrive flat.

some people can't find them, but they are attached. to this outer package. and you get a carrying case, and what's realimportant white beads and your pink chunk. chance so the first thing you gonna do...and you need a mirror too. the first thing your gonna do is put the pink chunk in hot water. and like always, you have to have scissors to do anything. so put that in there

and fill up your bowl. you want to have really hot water and it's going to melt. it takes about a minute. while it's melting i'm going to explain to youthat you're going to put a small little tube of that pink plastic along the top edge that plastic is the same thing as this layer on the back only it has some pigment in it.

and the the property of thismaterial is that it can soften and be like taffy at over 130 degrees and and as soon as it cools off it comes rightback to firm. so what you gonna do is melt this backplastic after you've done the pink at the top. you end up for something springy and arch-shaped and it remembers it has a home shape. it can flex outward

and its gonna fit right over your teethmechanically like that. yes, those are some fitted ones. so um, here's the trick, he knows howto do it. alright. it takes about, i guess as you say about a minute you take it out and then just kinda just roll it into a long line like a piece of spaghetti. that will go across the top of those the teeth to form a ridge. now i'm doing it a little more. is that good? nah, make it thinner. you might have to dip it (in the hot water) again.

you go ahead and pinch some off becausereally you get more than you need. ok. if you don't make it thin it is going to distort your face. so is that about right? yeah, that's about right. ok andnow we dip these teeth in the water rights so for how long? halfway for just a second, that's all it takes. ok and then i put this on the back. you put it along the top edge of the back layer. just dip it back in the hot water

and it is easier to pinch off the extra. you think that's too thick right there? yeah i think it's kind of thick. with your big face it won't matter that much. ok. now. alright, now you put it face down in that hot water. and you wait and the back layer is going to turn perfectly clear. how long will that take? maybe just 30 to 20 seconds, or less. ok that looks prettyclear right there should i take it out? yeah.

or you can pour the water off, the easier way. alright, now i just... look in the mirror, and what you want to do is press, be looking in in the mirror and press firmly against all your teeth then just hold the sides you watch be able to see in the mirrorwhether the sides are covering your teeth and the front and then just just gently hold it in position. you don't want all your fingers in the way... you just want, because see, a little bit came below your teeth.

fold it up ride right at that point. then you want to time it for twominutes tick tock tick tock! after two minutes what's happened is that material on the inside is semi-soft. you don't wanna let it completely solidify in your mouth, because when it's semi-solid and if you were dumb enough to try to fit these over braces even though we tell you not to, then you would still be able to pull them off. i'd say that's been a minute.

you should start to feel like it's going to stay on its own. uh huh! it feels like it. let's go a little longer. and what about that gap where the tooth is (missing), you put some plastic in there too, right? yes, you can, it's optional, but a lot of times it makes people feel better. we're going to fill in the area and have it fit in there where it butts up against the neighboring teeth and it acts like male portion of a snap fastener. you're just making something part of the inside surface and is going to slip right in between his teeth. ok, think i should take it out?

yes, i think that's enough. ok, reach under, try not to touch the top portion because it probably could dent. just only touch the teeth. ooh that is a good fit there! ok, alright and then put it down and let it cool off a lot. i think it's better than my others. the other thing we need is a pair of scissors and we have a giant pair right here, and those little points, you're going to cut those out? yeah. and with this blue in the background,

i would hope you can't see where there's points can you see them? there's points that form where two teeth meet the gum. and what you want to do then is... actually on my other pair cut it off with a little pair of fingernail clippers, it works fine. yeah anything nail clippers, scissors and the good thing about those is if you mess it up you just go right back and do it again with the same teeth!

right, see with this material you heat it and will melt over and over and then solidify. and if you get it like hanging down below the teeth and you've got to do it again you want to build the bulk of the plasticto be halfway between bottom and the top because these points here, theseprojections are what hold the teeth in. yeah. it should naturally when you... my hand shakes too much... you hold it.

when you just press it forward it should naturally form a ledge at the bottom and it will keep these teeth from being shoved up. and this is a placewhere i had that missing tooth? yeah. my eight month wait! yeah. and so i'll probably want to put some plastic here just to fit between the teeth. and i'll a probably end up cutting some of this off with some clippers because (pointing toward the top edge) ...let me see how it does. no it's perfect! if you don't touch it (the pink part) when you pull it out of your mouth, it's still somewhat soft.

well, it feels good. ok! what that pink does is it makes it have a curved surface and instead of easily being able to be sprung outward, it gives it a curved shape is always much (stronger). just like a triangle is stronger than a rectangle, a curved shape is stronger than a flat shape. i believe i like this fit better. but i like both of them. at least i have a back-up pair. ok. at least i have a back-up pair. oh see, you cut off all the top pink off on that!

i think it was because when you fit those, you touched the soft top and it made them uncomfortable. so these fit better then. alright, so next we're going to take uh, i'm going to change this water, it might not be hot enough. that's why you want to have plenty of hot water. what are you going to do, put some plastic there? yeah i'm gonna add. you want to be conservative so i'm putting two beads in there. and there gonna go from white to clear they're made from the same thing

as the pink and what's on the back of our teeth. the one property i forgot to discuss is it bonds to itself as long as hot touches hot. your gonna have to stick those teeth back in? i'm gonna catch those two beads and then where the tooth is missing i dipped that in for you know just for a quarter of a second and (the beads) will bond. okay put it back in your mouth and you wanna reach in from behind

and gently press it. don't get any behind the neighboring teeth. just have it so it butts up against those teeth. i asked my dentist if there might be any danger in moving thosetwo teeth, he said at my age about it's about a zero percent chance. if i was like 25 years old the teeth could move together, so that would be important to have a spacer. here's how you can save moneyon dentistry. because like, if you're getting a crown the dentist is going to say well you're gonna need a temporary and of course you panic

thinking yeah i need temporary! i'm not going out like this! you can just get some imako's for $40. and wear them around and it's only gonna be like two weeks until you get your crown and then you save two hundred fiftydollars, the last i heard. probably more than that now. of course he will probably punish you for doing that and take a month to get your regular tooth. my dentist would, anyway! ..........ok i want to show you how adding the melted white beads which remember you have to dip that in hot to water to make itreceptive to bonding

this can make it fit much better it kind of snaps in and acts like the maleportion of a snap fastener and here somebody has got missing teeth on the front and we just fill that area and that looks a lot better doesn't it? okay i'm thrilled with these. these actually fit better than my others. but i'm glad to have two sets. ok good! and i'm real happy to have been able to help so many people who are in a pinch; have an emergency

or just experience the terrible discrimination there is for people who have bad teeth. its worse any other, i think. so that's the explanation and we're always here during regular business hours 10 to 5:30est weekdays to help anybody who has a problem, so give us a call and read the instructions and good luck to you!
