or were you preparing yourself saying,no, the clairvoyants were going to win. >> well, no,because if you ever watch the show, every season it's kinda a magician,or a magiciany type act, yeah. >> yeah. >> but then, you go ahead andwin the whole thing. >> [laugh]>> it's amazing. and people are comparing you to taylorswift and do you see that comparison? do you understand why they're doing that? >> well, there have been liketons of different interprets of
what he meant from, i kinda look like her,also that she cut her hair into a bob. >> cuz of you probably.>> and- [laugh]and i finally found out what it means cuz after the show, simon cowell calledme into his dressing room and we talked. and he was, and that's what i meant wheni called you, the next taylor swift. not cuz you look like her,not cuz you sound like her. and he said,cuz he's worked to taylor swift and she's strong and knows her opinion. he said that's how he feels about me.
>> wow, well. >> [applause]>> it's a good impression. >> thank you. >> yes,it's a very good impression of him. and probably because you writeyour own songs, too, and she wrote all of her own songs. so you started writing at what age? >> about a year ago. >> just a year ago?
>> is that right. [laugh]>> no, is that right? >> cuz i sort of playingthe ukulele about a year ago and i started writing a few months after. >> wow, and but, did you take,the people take ukulele lessons. is there a ukulele teacher? i've seen people, i'd see guitar, buti've never seen a ukulele teacher. >> yeah, i've never, it's,i guess it would be really hard to find. i mean in hawaii if you went,like lived there, i'm sure-
>> probably. >> you'd find it everywhere. but it was really just youtube. youtube is an amazing place. [laugh]>> and that's how, you taught yourself fromlooking at youtube? >> yeah.>> that's amazing. so you've won a million dollars,is that right? >> yes.
>> a million dollars? >> [applause]>> you understand what that is? before this, how much you had savedbefore you've got this million dollars? do you have an allowance? >> no. >> so you didn't have any money saved? >> no, i remember first grade allthese kids come to school and be, the tooth fairy gave me $20. yeah, well, the tooth fairy gave me $50.
>> people in first gradeare getting $50 a tooth? >> yeah, i know it's ridiculous. what is this generation coming to? >> [laugh]>> [applause] >> that's right, you tell them, >> [laugh] >> all right, let's so were gonna see you perform. >> okay.
>> all right. >> [applause] [music] i don't know my name. i don't play by the rules of the game. so you said i'm just trying, just trying. so i heard you are my sister's friend. you get along quite nicely.
you ask me why i cut my hair and changed myself completely. i'm lost,trying to get found in an ocean of people. please don't ask me any questions, there won't be a valid answer. i'll just say that i don't know my name. i don't play by the rules of game. so you say, i'm just trying, just trying. i now, know my name.

you have a million dollars andyou need some place safe to keep it. i know that you're gonna donatea lot of it, which is really great. but some of it you're gonna keep. and you need to keep it some place safe. so a lot of people keeptheir money in mattresses. >> [laugh]>> so- what we're gonna do is we're gonna give you this special mattress and. >> [applause]>> all right.
